metal silverware touching my teeth
metal silverware touching other metal silverware
metal nail files on my nails
jewelry - any - on anyone (nope, no ears pierced on me)
anything smallish and metal (i.e. an airplane is fine, and a subway pole is ok)
i'm fine getting needles at the doc's though
definitely not a fan of the dentist though
is this a phobia? i know there are a few out there, but i've never found them. would love to have a tea party with plastic spoons...

Wow, that must suck. I think I'd be trying to condition myself out of that one. -

Re: metal.
Sun, January 16, 2005 - 1:52 AMno...it's only small metal stuff. toasters and cars and handrails are fine. chains and small thin stuff.
it's definitely better as i get older. it's really not that traumatic..just weird, and was just wondering if anyone else could relate.
if the metal thing is *useful* i tend to be able to handle it fine.
